Website Privacy

The RedBuoy website (redbuoy.ca) is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. This section covers what data the website collects and how it is handled.

What the website collects

The only data the website collects is information you voluntarily submit through the contact form: your name, email address, subject, and message. We do not use analytics, advertising, or any third-party tracking beyond what is described below.

How form data is processed

When you submit the contact form, your message is checked by Google reCAPTCHA v3 (an invisible spam filter) before being forwarded to our email. reCAPTCHA verifies that you are a real person and not a bot. We receive your name, email, subject, and message — nothing more.

Cloudflare hosting

This website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may set essential cookies for security and bot detection. These are governed by Cloudflare's Cookie Policy and Privacy Policy. See our Cookie Policy for details on which cookies may be set.

Data retention

  • Contact form submissions are retained per our email retention policy
  • Cookie consent preferences are stored locally in your browser for 12 months
  • Cloudflare sets cookies as described in Cloudflare's Cookie Policy

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have certain rights regarding your personal data under privacy laws like GDPR (EU/UK) or CCPA (California).

  • Right to access — request a copy of any personal data we hold about you
  • Right to delete — request that we delete your personal data
  • Right to correct — request that we correct inaccurate personal data
  • Right to opt out — opt out of non-essential cookies (see our Cookie Policy)

To exercise any of these rights, contact us. We will respond within 30 days.
